The Library
The Library at McNally Smith College of Music serves the entire McNally Smith Community including current students, faculty, staff, and music school alumni. The Library’s diverse multimedia collection includes books, electronic databases, magazines, newspapers, CDs, DVD’s and videos, course reserve items, computers, TVs, DVD/VCR players, CD/tape players and headphones. This collection exists to support and augment the McNally Smith Music College education.
The Library’s skilled staff includes a full-time librarian who holds a Masters in Library and Information Science and is specially trained to assist music school students with their information needs. Whether it is as simple as teaching students how to locate a certain piece of sheet music, or helping them conduct research on the library catalog or online databases, our staff is here to help students navigate the physical and electronic information landscape. The Library also provides computer and bibliographic instruction for the student body.
The Bookstore
The McNally Smith Music College bookstore has more to offer than just a traditional bookstore. In addition to competitively priced resources for all of your classes, it offers a full service music accessories department, pro audio equipment, branded merchandise, referrals to local vendors with preferred pricing and discounts for instrument purchases and special order capability for all your music college needs. The bookstore has flexible hours that are tailored around the student’s needs. The highly trained staff is always available to answer all of your questions. The music college bookstore is planning to expand the service list in the near future to add on demand sheet music sales, computers, and other sundry items for our students. Please stop by the McNally Smith bookstore and enjoy all we have to offer.
The McNally Smith Café
The appealing, warm, and comfortable environment in our café is what sets us apart from any other music schools. Not only do we offer an expanding meal selection but we also have a nice student lounge with DirecTv satellite service, a comfortable seating area with computer access, a wonderful view of our state capitol, and a stage showcasing talent from all areas of the college. Our menu includes everything from specialty coffee drinks, a variety of beverages including Red Bull and Sobe drinks, full meals for lunch and dinner, snacks, and a mix of healthy choices like salads, fruits, and sandwiches. The café, along with our entire music college campus, has free wireless internet access. Stop by the café and enjoy the food and the view!
The Copy/Print Center
The McNally Smith Copy Print Center is located at 26 Exchange Street near the lower level administrative offices. The Copy Print Center is designed to offer our music college students, faculty, and staff professional printing and duplication services while utilizing the latest technology to deliver high quality products and services.
We offer a 30% discount for all music school students, faculty, and staff on top of our already low competitive prices.

The IT Department
The McNally Smith IT Department is a vital part of day-to-day operations for the music college. We have successfully deployed technology in virtually every classroom, study room, and office on the campus. We are responsible for all email accounts, SonisWeb (our online student information system), the McNally Smith website, over 200 computers, our free campus wireless network, and a list of other useful pieces of technology. There are over 700 users that rely on the IT Department for support on a daily basis, on and off the McNally Smith College of Music Campus. The goal of this department is to provide the best possible support for all students, staff, and faculty while simultaneously keeping the college on the front line of today’s modern technology.

Tutoring Services are available to all students at McNally Smith College of Music. Students who take advantage of Tutoring Services learn invaluable skills to help them in all of their classes, as well as fine tuning subjects that can be particularly challenging. Tutors relay the types of questions they receive back to the instructors so that they have the tools needed to improve their teaching methods.

Support Services
Student Services enhances all aspects of student life, including the provision of resources for student who have questions or need academic, professional, emotional, or mental support. Student Services offer assistance by directing students to resources available through the college and the community. External resources include physicians, dentists, mental health services, support groups, and health insurance resources. Student Services also provides Ombudsperson Services to students.
First Aid Kits can be found in the Student Services office, the Front Desk, the Café, and the Record Lab. For medical emergencies call 911. For assistance with non-emergency medical assistance, check with the Student Services Dept.
