Admissions

1. Complete the enrollment application with special attention to the essay sections. We will review the references, audition results, department evaluations, and the interview. Consideration is also given to previous academic performance and test scores. Please submit your application to the Admissions Department with the $75.00 fee. All other required materials may be sent individually.
2. Call to schedule an interview with your Representative to discuss your plans for the future and tour the facility.
3. Most Bachelor and Associate of Applied Science Degree applicants will take the Accuplacer Placement Exam.
4. Your Representative will arrange and discuss the following:
   • Auditions for Music Performance majors
   • Demo guidelines for Production majors
   • Accuplacer Placement exams and department evaluations for Recording Technology and Music Production

5. Contact your high school, and any colleges attended, to request official transcripts and immunization records. Use the enclosed request form.
6. Bachelor's Degree applicants are required to submit ACT and/or SAT scores.
7. Applicants are required to submit two official letters of recommendation. People who have worked closely with the applicant in an academic and/or professional capacity should write these recommendations. Recommendations from family members or friends cannot be used.
8. Following completion of requirements, a formal letter of acceptance or denial will be sent.

In addition to the required material listed above, the Admissions Representative may request additional information during the admissions process.
